BRIEF –
Kroger Inc, the second-largest general retailer, required effective Video and Surveillance software across its geographically distributed retail spaces. This would help the company not only to put a tap on various cases regarding theft of commodities but also in providing documented records of legal proceedings against unlawful claims by individuals.
CHALLENGES –
Executing the POC for Video and Surveillance systems with in-depth understanding of the various case scenarios. Vis-à-vis, keeping it highly functional and ease of use for different types of users.
IMPACT –
The design not only promoted easy discoverability of required video segments but also created a usage framework which customized itself according to the user’s role. The engagement provided Kroger with a product roadmap that provided an opportunity for a revenue channel as a surveillance system for retail spaces.
